Snorkel Info:

Black Rock at Kaanapali Beach offers some really great snorkeling. Located at the far North end of Kaanapali behind the Sheraton Hotel, you will find a large outcropping of black lava rock. Yep, you guessed it, that's Black Rock. It is common to see turtles and a wide variety of sealife here. At the shore the tide may seem strong due to the shore pound, but it usually stays pretty mellow inside the point here. More experienced snorkelers may also want to try cruising along the backside of black rock to escape the crowds that sometimes gather here.

Beach Info:

Kaanapali beach has a little bit of everything for everybody. Also called Dig Me Beach, Kaanapali is a great place for people watching with the largest resorts located right on the beach. Whaler's village is home to many great shops as well as three restaurants and a food court. For the more adventurous you may want to climb Black Rock to one of the many spots where you can jump in the water. There are showers all along the beach and public restrooms can be found at Whaler's Village.

How to Get Here:

Kaanapali Beach is located just North of Lahaina on Highway 30. You will see the golf course and a large Kaanapali sign at the entrance. The easiest place to park is at Whaler's Village, the shops and restaurants there can validate parking for you.
