What is the best waterfall in Hana? I want to spend the most time at just one, and could use a heads up.

Oh, that's a tough one. Some of the best waterfalls in Hana are on private property.
As for the best public waterfalls, I would check out Oheo Gulch, Seven Sacred Pools. There are numerous waterfalls. The more you hike up, the more you find. This is a great park, and safe due to there constant monitoring of water levels and rainfall. Flash floods have killed people unexpectedly, so they close certain areas when this is imminent. Follow the trails and you'll find some great stuff. The camping here is great too.
I'd love to hear other member suggestions, so keep this one going.

It is difficult to say which waterfall on Maui is the best. All are unique in my opinion. You might like to try this slide show I created for a peek at some different ones. Loading might be a bit slow so be patient.
Maui Waterfalls
I think that the falls just past Hana are the by far the easiest to access.
